Silcoates Classic and American Car Show

Here's a nice local show which is ideal for the club. Dispite this been its 3rd year running its already become a big hit with the locals, last year saw hundreds of cars attending with cars of all shapes and sizes and already this year it's got nearly 200 pre booked. Below is the flyer which should give you an idea of what's going on and all for a good cause, the Yorkshire Air Ambulance and Wakefield Hospice. There's plenty of American style food, real coffee van, ice cream and bar, add that to a field full of classics and I'd say your onto a winner.


If any one fancies joining me you are more than welcome, and if there's enough interest I can get in touch with the organisers and book a club stand which I think will go down a storm amongst the big Yankee wagons lol. Let me know your thoughts folks.

Paul Copley owns the big storage thing full of cleaning gear and the van, jeep and mx5 down at the unit Penelope is in, and also the Chevy you've seen a bit of, he's a good lad. If you need a hand with club stand etc give me a shout. I'd like to think penelope will be back in Derby by then, i'm planning on finishing her over the next week or two but you never know! Might even bring her back up for the weekend or something, we shall see. I can't guarantee she'll be there though so don't put her on club stand numbers.

Makes sense to get you involved with a club stand if that's the case. Need to know numbers first naturally. I know I'm going for one lol.

This falls on Natalie's birthday so I doubt we'll be around.

I believe you can just show up (between 9:00am and 10:30am) to show your car but if theres enough interest I can give them a call with numbers so we can get parked up together.

If anyone has the means to get another classic up there let me know and Penelope can make an appearance.
